The Harbor es un programa de residencia para artistas internacionales. Invitamos a artistas a residir en Beta-Local for períodos de hasta un mes para desarollar y presentar proyectos y exhibiciones o talleres y charlas públicas. La residencia está abierta a artistas, arquitectos, diseñadores y hacedores de todas las disciplinas en apoyo a La Práctica y Lo público. En el 2011-12 recibimos a más de 10 residentes por períodos de 3 semanas a un mes, entre ellos: Pablo Guardiola, Amílcar Packer, Catalina Lozano, Adriana Lara, Tim Portlock y otros. Los residentes habitan en el estudio de Beta-Local, un espacio de vivienda adyacente a nuestro espacio de trabajo y reunión.Reciben llaves y tienen acceso contínuo a la biblioteca y nuestro espacio de trabajo para sus necesidades de vida/trabajo. El espacio está localizado en la calle Luna, esquina San Justo en el Viejo San Juan.

The Harbor is an artist residency program for international visiting artists, cultural producers and thinkers in support of La Práctica and Lo Público. Artists, and other creative producers such as architects and designers, are invited to reside in Beta-Local for periods of a few days to up to a month. Their residency may entail a combination of the following: production, exhibition or presentation of a project, advising to the individual participants of La Práctica as well as offering public lectures or workshops. We have received more than 10 residents in 2011-12, among them : Pablo Guardiola, Amílcar Packer, Catalina Lozano, Adriana Lara and Tim Portlock Residents stay in Beta-Local's studio space, a living space adjacent to our main organization's facility. They also get keys to our main space and can access the library and work space for their live/work needs. Visitors reside at our studio space located next to our main meeting space in 208 Calle Luna, Viejo San Juan, PR. |
